Meet The Team


Dr. Michele Tulak-Gorecki

Dr. Michele grew up in Madison Heights and is an alum of Bishop Foley High School. She finished her Bachelor of Science from Oakland University in 1986. Dr. Michele attended the University of Michigan for dental school and received her D.D.S. degree in 1990. She immediately joined her father Dr. Stanley Tulak, at Marlow Family Dental where she currently is a practicing partner with her husband Dr. Christopher Gorecki.

Dr. Michele has an extensive amount of research experience in dentistry both nationally and internationally as well. She has been a member of the Sigma Xi scientific research society since 1991.  She had the honor of having her research published in 1991.

Dr. Tulak-Gorecki is a member of several professional dental organizations locally, regionally, and nationally, including the ASDA, AAWD, AGD, ADA, and MDA. Dr. Michele has also held several leadership positions. She is a past Secretary/Treasurer and President of the Michigan Dental Association.

In her free time, Dr. Michele enjoys volunteering at charitable events such as the Mission of Mercy and Give Kids a Smile. She also gives of her time at St. Mary’s Catholic Community in Royal Oak in several capacities. She is a proud mom of two  daughters. 



Dr. Chris Gorecki

Dr. Chris grew up in the Livonia, Farmington Hills area and graduated in 1981 from Catholic Central High School. He finished his bachelor’s in Chemistry degree from the University of Michigan in 1985. Ann Arbor was also the place where he completed dental school, receiving his D.D.S. degree in 1990. After a one year general practice residency at the University of Chicago he joined a practice in Madison Heights, Sterling Heights, and Shelby. He partnered with Marlow Family Dental in 1996.

Dr. Gorecki was inducted into the American College of Dentists in 2007. The American College of Dentists awards membership to dentists that exhibit good moral character and community service. In 2012, Dr. Gorecki was inducted into the Pierre Fauchard Academy which is an association of International dentists that demonstrate the highest ethics in their profession. He currently helps to organize continuing education seminars for the Macomb Dental Society. At the Michigan Dental Association he was the chair  of the Access to Care Committee in 2018. He is currently a trustee of the Michigan Dental Association.

Other philanthropic activities include seeing patients from the Tri-County Dental Health Council since 1996. Dr. Gorecki has been a Donated Dental Services Provider since 2004. He facilitated and participated in the Give Kids a Smile events at UofD from 2005-2009. He has also volunteered his services at the Mission of Mercy events that took place at Saginaw Valley State University in 2013, Ferris State University in 2014, Macomb in 2016, and Grand Rapids in 2018.

Besides dentistry Dr. Chris is a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Community in Royal Oak. He is a past vicariate member, pastoral council member, and currently serves on the Life Issues Committee and Faith Formation Committee. Dr. Chris is also a member of the Knights of Columbus. He has been married to Michele since 1993 and has two daughters that keep him busy with their active schedules. 



Cathleen Polley

Dental Hygienist

Cathy has been a member of the Marlow Family Dental team since 2004. She attended the Warren Consolidated Career Prep Center in high school where she obtained the knowledge and skills to be a Dental Assistant. After high school she attended Ferris State University where she received her Dental Hygiene degree in 2008. She is married and is quite busy with her two young children.
